So, this week has been the week that I discovered library waiting lists during COVID-19, which was definitely fun. I wanted to check out Juliet Takes a Breath by Gabby Rivera, but was only able to pick it up on Friday, so I haven’t finished it yet. I’m still waiting on Gideon the Ninth (Tamsyn Muir) and Gods of Jade and Shadow (Silvia Moreno-Garcia), both of which need to be shipped to my area via the inter-library loan system. Am I grinding my teeth with impatience? Yes. Am I glad that using the library means I’m not emptying my savings account for my reading habit? Also yes.
Other than that, things have been… fine. My life is boring, as usual. I’m having fun doodling and just messing around in my new bullet journal, but that’s neither here nor there. I hope everyone has had a great week, and that the coming week will be even better!
Waiting for books is the worst! You just want to read them right way but you can’t

It’s definitely the worst! On the other hand, I don’t want my instant gratification to affect my bank account lol
