The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s time to recap the week and talk about what bookish content is coming up next week.
I read two books this week.

I went to the library this week and picked up Gods of Jade and Shadow (Silvia Moreno-Garcia) as well as Gideon the Ninth (Tamsyn Muir). My dad read the blurb for Gideon the Ninth and IMMEDIATELY absconded with the book to read it himself, which leaves me reading Gods of Jade and Shadow for my second buddy read with Sarah @ Suits of Stories.
Next week, I will also be reading Into the Drowning Deep (Mira Grant), which is already giving me the shivers because I am AFRAID of the ocean. There’s stuff in there that I only want to encounter in the context of a sushi platter, okay? Or maybe a bouillabaisse… Either way, I’m excited and ready to be terrified.
I have also started my preptober work as I get ready for NaNoWriMo, which is already stressing me out. I think NaNo scares me just as much as the deep sea if not more, so here’s to hoping I survive November.
How has your week been? What reading will your upcoming week hold? Let me know!
Seriously, your dad stealing your library book is so funny to me! 😂
