NaNoWriMo is shorthand for National Novel Writing Month. Participants will attempt to write 50,000 words of a draft of their novel in the 30 days of November. (Fun fact: Erin Morgenstern’s debut novel, The Night Circus, began as a NaNoWriMo project).
NaNoWriMo is at best intense, and at worst all-consuming and exhausting. This is my first time participating, and I’ve discovered that I can’t quite manage the balancing act between maintaining this blog and writing as hard as I can every day of November. Therefore, I’ve put this blog on hiatus until December 1st. All normal content will resume then!
